Tensile-impact strengthThe tensile-impact strength is a tensile test with a relatively high deformation rate. It is well known that materials sometimes behave brittle under dynamic loads, whereas they can appear plastic and deformable in the quasi-static, classical tensile test. This can lead to unpredictable breakage of packaging materials and technical products, e.g. under impact and drop stress.
