describes the necessary work (work process) to ensure conformity with the law, regulations or other requirements.

For food packaging, these include:

Documentary checks according to current law
Supplier or manufacturer enquiries
List of substances contained with restrictions
Worst-case calculations instead of time-consuming analysis
Elaboration of a test plan
Preparation of a conformity report
Preparation of a declaration of conformity
