Standardprüfungen

Colour measurement on liquids
The method is used, for example, to evaluate the discoloration of caustic washing solutions from cleaning processes for PET recyclates (bleeding). Colour measurements will be used to document the effects of packaging design on PET recycling material, e.g. with regard to a possible bleeding of printing inks from the label materials into the PET. The evaluation of the discoloration is carried out with a spectrophotometer in reflection mode using cuvettes.
Norm: EPBP QT 507 (nur Colorimetrie)

Colour measurement on films, printings, etc.
The method is used, for example, to evaluate the matching of colours or colour changes. Here, the deviation from a defined standard, which is called Δ E or ΔL*,Δ a*,Δ b* for the three individual colour axes, is usually of interest.
Norm: DIN 5033-1

Colour measurement on plastic flakes or pellets
The method is used, for example, to assess the discoloration of washed (recycling) PET flakes or pellets as an indicator of contamination of a PET sample. They thus also provide a basis for the assessment the effects of packaging design features on recycled PET material. For example, the comparative measured value of pure, clear PET can be used to measure the limit value for specifications. The evaluation of the discoloration of e.g. flakes and granulates is carried out with a spectrophotometer in reflection mode using cuvettes.
Norm: APR PET-S-02 (nur Colorimetrie)
